The problem every meet day.
You're changing shoes all day.
Athletes untie and retie spikes repeatedly between events, warmups, and travel. It eats time and focus when you need both most.
Hard surfaces shred your spikes.
Walking on pavement, tile, and locker rooms dulls or breaks spike pins and wears the plate out faster.
Spikes tear clothes and gear.
Metal pins catch on bags, sweats, and uniforms, leaving rips, holes, and wardrobe issues right before a race.

Why I'm building this
As a track and field athlete at Chico State, one of the most frustrating parts of race day had nothing to do with competing. It was everything that happened in between.
I'd finally get my spikes laced up perfectly, dialed in, and ready to compete. Then I'd have to walk across concrete to use the restroom or head to check in, knowing every step was wearing down my spikes. If I took them off, I'd have to spend time getting the fit just right all over again. If I left them on, I risked damaging my spikes and the surfaces I walked on.
After the meet, there was another problem. Throwing my spikes into my bag meant the pins would snag my clothes, puncture my water bottle, or tear through other gear. It was one of those small frustrations that every track athlete accepts because there wasn't a better solution.
I kept thinking, "There has to be a better way."
So I built one.
This company was created by an athlete who experienced these problems firsthand. Not in a design studio, but at practices, meets, and long days on the track. Our mission is simple. Create thoughtful products that solve the everyday frustrations athletes have been putting up with for years, so they can focus on what really matters, performing at their best.
